ATL…I’m baaaaack! New York has its benefits — however few and far between — but I ALWAYS miss my hometown. Like, on a daily basis. Now that I’m back in town for the Holidays, it’s time to see what shows and events I can get into without having to wear 8 layers of clothing and a puffy coat.
First up, Bacardi’s cross-country House part event. If you haven’t caught the commercials, Bacardi is currently running a multi-location promotion by hitching up a mobile home, taking it from town to town, cramming it with cool people such as yours truly, lubricating the situation with free Bacardi cocktails, and throwing a huge bash with a live performance in each city.
For the Atlanta stop, DJs blasted music for hours before Cap-1 hit the stage to warm up the crowd.
Being that it was modeled to be a wild house party bash, there were lots of extracurricular shenanigans and photo opps to hop into all over the place. I chose to lay up in a tub of faux ice:
While other people hit the bars and the dance floor…
Before Meek Himself finally hit the stage and performed his bigger hits, including “House Party” (of course), “Dreams and Nightmares,” and “I’m A Boss,” and more.
I’m not a HUGE Meek fan, but you gotta love his energy! besides, there was great selfie lighting:
